Pre-shipment Inspection is also a large part of our business - we regularly consolidate for countries such as Nigeria, Iran, Kenya and the Philippines, and have good working relationships with local inspectors for Intertek, SGS, Cotecna and the like.
The biggest benefit, however, is probably the constant managerial monitoring of all goods we receive. Every consignment AE.GNL receive is checked by managerial staff to ensure that as far as we can see it is the correct goods, they are packed and marked correctly, and (particularly for goods requiring pre- inspection) meet all our customers requirements. Most warehouse staff are not experts in shipping and forwarding, and you probably know from your own past experience that something that may be unimportant to than could be the difference between a clean report and non-conformity, or even a happy customer and a dissatisfied one.
